Seven Easy Steps to Becoming a Foster Care, Adoption or Respite Parent
| Step One: | Initial contact or call to Patricia Barger, Therapeutic Foster Care Recruiter at 443-923-3816. |
| Step Two: | Attend an Information Meeting and meet our program recruiter and one or more of our current foster parents. |
| Step Three: | Complete and submit our initial inquiry form. |
| Step Four: | Participate in a home visit and interview |
| Step Five: | Attend and successfully complete pre-service training |
| Step Six: | Participate in home study |
| Step Seven: | Receive certification as a Therapeutic Foster Care, Foster, Respite, and/or Adoptive Parent |
Once you complete these steps, you’ll be ready to provide a safe, nurturing home for a child who desperately needs one.
