Referral and Placement Services
We offer an expedient response to placement requests from local departments of social services and agencies throughout Maryland who serve children with special needs.Matching and Placement Procedures
Agencies referring children to this program often convey specific preferences regarding a family resource based on the child’s needs. The program respects all requests and matches accordingly.This program addresses emergent placement requests and provides immediate response to calls from agencies regarding family availability for a child or children needing placement.
Children served
- Children from infancy to age 21
- Children with special needs (emotional disabilities, medically fragile conditions including feeding problems, respiratory problems, drug exposure and developmental disabilities)
- Children who require intensive parenting care and wraparound services
