If you want to get involved and help a child with special needs, but aren’t able to make the time commitment required to become a full-time foster parent or respite care provider, volunteering with the program may be the answer. As a volunteer in our program, you can be a positive role model and make a difference in the lives of these children.

young boyOur volunteer opportunities include tutoring children to help them succeed in school, mentoring or supporting children in the development of job or life skills, or helping children explore career paths.

To become a volunteer, you do not have to have experience with children with disabilities, just a desire and willingness to be involved in a child’s life. As a volunteer, you will receive specialized training and 24-hour support from our licensed staff.

See calendar for all support group meeting dates.
